I'd love to be able to click on one of the hike icons and be linked to the corresponding hike writeup...

Thanks, man! Yeah, I'm still learning. I figured it out in Google Maps API 2.0, but not yet in 3.0. I'm sure I'll figure it out soon. Although, a push in the right direction by my helpful and talented readers might save me some time! *wink* *wink*
